by the way kung wala mo nakakita ug kimchi paste pwede gamit chilli powder (kanang pinohon ug ang coarse, sold at assi mart by the bottle nga gamay, a friend of my mom gave he a whole pack before from the states, wala nagamit nadaot na hinuon... saunz) sugar, salt, white vinegar. hmmm i think thats it... if im not mistaken. kung wala nimo girinse ang pechay after soaking in salt overnight you can also add fish sauce to the mixture. make sure nga pagtilaw nimo dili parat kay ang pechay naabsorb naman ug salt. then there's garlic (if you like some) and spring onions. also walay tubig gi add sa ako mama... the only liquid there is, is only vinegar and the fish sauce( if you think the saltiness is not enough)
