Here something for the day. I got this from websaytko.com forums:

Riders Issue Guidelines for Traffic Officers on Motorcycles

Motorcycle riders has issued their own Guidelines for traffic officers on motorcycles’ when conducting apprehensions.

    1. said officers must be in proper riding gear (basically a DOT certified helmet, riding gloves, jacket and reflectorised vest)
    2. said officers must be courteous and smiling when apprehending motorists
    3. said officers motorcycle must not be modified in any way (daming ganyan)
    4. said officer’s motorcycle/vehicle must bear proper license plates bearing the current year’s sticker (bawal yung plates na “police” “barangay” “TED” “Traffic”)
    5. said officers ID, badge and name plate must be properly placed on his/her uniform
    6. said officer should be able to identify every motorcycle brand and model currently in the market and should be able to identify a modified from a stock bike

any officers not complying to these guidelines after thorough inspection by the apprehended rider, will be ignored and given the dirty finger

pareha lage mga motor, but a scooter is diff from big bikes ug ninja bikes. Ang stock sa big bike saba gyud nag tambotso daan.

.. agree. LTO should also coordinate with DTI and ask the said bureau to limit or restrict the sale of motorcycle modification parts.

.. this move of LTO is very nice indeed so that those motorcycle owners will, at least, be disciplined. These motor-drivers are a damn nuisance on the streets, they don't know proper road rules. I had several near encounters with motorcycle drivers, in most cases, they cut-in lanes.

Anyway, letter "a" to "e" was OK daw but letter "d" of the list was the common complaint coz its somewhat too vague. I read that blog where u copied and pasted that AO and the list from and i was surprised the complaints were only coming from METRO MANILA. Nothing has been mentioned about applying these new guidelines in the provinces like Cebu.
There you said it, letter 'D" is vague.

LTO guidelines are not only intended for metro manila, sooner or later, mo abot ra na dinhi sa cebu,

AFAIK, ang mga usually madakpan aning "modifying" dre Cebu:

    skeleton body
    no side mirrors
    changing body color
    extension seats
    using HID lamps
    loud tailpipes

as for the rims, wala pa ko kabaw naay nadakpan dre ug ngano...or basin ligid na sa ninja ang gitaud bro...hahaha
I have no complaints regarding those common violations you mentioned above. The problem sets in when LTO issues sweeping guidelines that could become a source of income for "Kotong Cops".

and habal-habal. i know it's a necessity in the bukid but wala unta lang ni sa syudad. Delikado baya gyud ni.
As I said, wala ko reklamo anang saba ug tambotso, ang ako problema kay kanang ilang guidelines na walay klaro.

Tanawa gud ni cla usahay mag motorcade saba kaayo. AFAIK, motorcades are banned na nationwide unless naay permit. there's even a car club dre nga nanggamit ug HID bulbs. di lng ko mo mention but i think u know...they have no respect for the law and safety. mao nay bogo.
Mao bitaw kinahanglan ug dialogues bro para ma lay everything on the table, and support each arguments with valid reasons.
