hapit na ang election, until now, im still undecided kung si kinsa jud ang akong i-vote sa pagka president.

ako ni gi himo nga thread para ma enlighten ko and hopefully this thread can help me choose with greater judgment. (and hopefully maka help pud ni sa mga fellow istoryans nga sama nako nga undecided pa jud.)

i know naa na thread with regards to the candidates for this coming election but samok kaayu. dili specific. i find it misleading jud. sorry...

to the admin and mods, i hope you understand my sentiments. but if you find this as an unreasonable thread and/or if this is against the forum rules, then, do your responsibilities. maka sabot ra ko.

i hope this thread wont be like the other one nga pwerteng ka libog. hope walay magbugal2x ani nga thread. hope ma lessen ang mga childish nga replies.

ako na gi tuyo nga BAD SIDE ang ipa kita not to start or fire up everyone but, rather, to be more specific jud. i know daghan sila (presidentiables) nga mga achievements that's why mas ni focus ko sa ilang BAD SIDE para at least kahibaw jud ta kung si kinsa jud ang lesser evil. mao man kaha na ang atong gipangita sa usa ka leader?

i know most of the people here have known the presidentiables. wa ni nako gi himo nga thread para "mangsira" sa mga candidates. so if you dont know that presidentiable well, ayaw nalang intawn og comment para walay gubot. please!

GORDON: He offers no excuse or apologies for the way he is, has no chance of winning, no political machinery, claim on Subic may be a bit immodest, my way or no way sort of leadership, not a good leader, strikto, kataha-an sa mga tawo, giving amnesty to ASG, hanginon, uses red cross for his political ambition, way klaro lakaw sa iyang committee nga gidala niadto

GIBO: linked to PGMA, linked to the GARCIA, over-qualified, basin dummy ni gloria, not yet proven quite a lot, somewhat a shadow of the administration, no executive experience, hard time getting the people's trust, platforms/programs not immediate solutions, elitista, only sees the problems of the rich:CRIMES, big blunders as DND chief and NDCC, lagging far behind in all surveys, balimbing, edu for running mate, lapid and revilla in the senatorial line up, knew how dangerous the ampatuans but was unable to disarm them, iniated the impeachment of CJ davide

ERAP: ex-convict, has hidden agenda, too old, already proven could not properly lead, uses popularity over the masses, not smart

VILLAR: (still needs clarification from ing_pacz), his interest in general (eg. business), protector, return of investments, will use his power for his own benefit, business inclined not really 100% for public servitude, trapo, desperate to win, lack of foresight, dako chance mahimong corrupt, destroyed mother nature through his business (real estate), C5 issue, over exposed (commercials), afraid to answer c5 issue (senate)

NOYNOY: under the control of puppet masters (LP, MBC, cory cronies), walay agi, uto-uto, still to prove himself, Mediocre track record, He's no smartass, No vision, no platform, no energy/passion, sickly, nagsalig sa name sa parents, weak leadership

VILLANUEVA: pastor (church and state issue)

reading all the comments here about his bad side, i see that they are all because of his connections with arroyo. i agree that because of arroyo, gibo's status is somehow not impressive to others. but i know the man is intelligent enough not to be used by the current admin if he does get the presidency. he has a name to protect and i dont see a point why anyone would taint their name just for the sake of popularity.

well thats it. thats how i made up my mind for this guy. i miss being a real FILIPINO. i miss the times when people back in the days were helpful, hospitable and very kind in showing their heart. not like today if they help someone, they expect something in return. (maka tukmod lang gani ug na palyar nga sakyanan, mangayo na dayun ug ika baws kay para iinum or panigarilyo. tsk tsk tsk. very UNFILIPINO!)

for me i will also not allow to taint my father's name. thats a big slap on his face and we are even taught to respect our parents from the day we have knowledge about the world we live in.

just a reality check for everyone.

i was agreeing that gibo's connection with arroyo is one bad side.... but im also pointing out something positive out of that bad side. sorry if my post messes u up.
