bro gibasa nimo tanan nako post?if not then let me give u a shortcut of my life story huh?eversince i was a kid...i never believed in santa claus like other kids do...and believing in god is like believing in santa claus.wa ko namungot woi...ngano gud tawon mamungot ko wa me exist?weird.
yeah thats true...these people can call me a trying hard atheist and i dont mind it rather than too be so rigtheous yet theyre the worst!i wonder if these people really believe in god?or they just pretend that they do to cover up their wrong doing?coz thats what usually happen though... looks can always be deceiving....
PLASTIC man ning suluguon sa ginoo woi!
On topic... thanks for the article, nothing wrong with posting an article like that.
except that you posted it on the wrong board.
Where are all my moderators at?
it's either they close this thread or move it over to Politics and Current events.
they seem so idle nowadays, it's sickening.
just kidding.
you see, there are different kinds of people here in istorya.
there are those who prey in this board, and those who stay in Politics.
TS, you just posted it on the wrong board.
blame yourself if you got ridiculed by hard core religious fanatics and hard core atheists.
coz like i said, you posted it on the wrong board.
ill tell u a story when i was working as a volunteer nurse somewhere in r.p.
i used to work as a volunteer to charitable institutions coz as ive said in one of my post here...i love helping people and my hubby supports me with whatever i do and that makes things alot better..since i know that majority there are catholics,i never questioned their belief to god, now, when i was contributing these goods for these slum kids...one of these kids asked me... "taga asa man ka mam?ngano maayo man kaayo ka?"i told him its not just me..were heaps who are willing to help them and im just a volunteer worker which means like him im still a nobody and then one of my co-volunteers said..."tabang lang man me dong kay naluoy me ninyo"and then this kid said" maayo pa mo naluoy mo namo...ang ginoo ug ambot asa kaha karon galaag wa jud naluoy namo.katoliko ka ba mam?"he asked that question looking at me and waiting for an answer and then i said "ayaw kalain dong ha?di man ko katoliko woi,as a matter of fact,wa man ko relihiyon"and then he said..." maayo pa ang way relihiyon, kaaon pa sige...makatabang pa sa pobre..and ga sige ampo mao man nuon ang way kaon.kami mam..taga gabie jud me sige ampo pero pobre man gihapon me bisan unsaon.maayo pa ug di nalang tuo sa ginoo para kami di magsalig nga naa siya pero wa diay" those words of him made me and my co-volunteer stunned...those words are like a dagger that ripped my heart out...
and thats when i started not liking catholicism...because even their god abandoned them in times they really need him most.in time that they have no one to turn to...im not insecure...never! ive been to some places in phil.and doing some volunteering work and ive been hearing same answers.women whining about how god abandoned them... even his believers lost faith on him already bec.he isnt really there for them when things go worst.

pardon me for saying mam but this seems to be an example of how volunteer work is not healthy for you. daghan man pud laing volunteers who, again pardon me, actually contribute much much more. and guess what, the more hardships they see being taken care of the more they proclaim the goodness of god .... naa ra jud sa tawo unsaon pag view mga bagay bagay.
i am not a promoter of god's "goodness" but this scenario you gave, para sa akoa ha, it's weak. andun na ako .. you feel the pain .... you are hurting .... which is exactly it, you are just hurting. tama ba?
dili unta ko nimo awayon sa akong gisulti kay hadlok jud ko ug away
ok balik sa topic .. um, tabloid material. headline: "holy people take a break, big deal."
