“ ...I felt the universe suddenly quake, and that a golden spirit sprang up from the ground, veiled my body, and changed my body into a golden one. At the same time my body became light. I was able to understand the whispering of the birds, and was clearly aware of the mind of God, the creator of the universe. At that moment I was enlightened: the source of budo is God's love - the spirit of loving protection for all beings... Budo is not the felling of an opponent by force; nor is it a tool to lead the world to destruction with arms. True Budo is to accept the spirit of the universe, keep the peace of the world, correctly produce, protect and cultivate all beings in nature.[12]

Another source of TRUTH is the Spiritual Classic "THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGI" by: Paramahansa Yogananda
Paramahansa Yogananda
Date of Birth January 5, 1893(1893-01-05) Place of birth Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India Birth Mukunda Lal Ghosh Date of death 7 March 1952 (aged 59) Place of death Los Angeles, California, U.S Guru/Teacher Sri Yukteswar Giri
In 1946, Yogananda published his life story, Autobiography of a Yogi. It has since been translated into twenty-five languages. In 1999, it was designated one of the "100 Most Important Spiritual Books of the 20th Century" by a panel of spiritual authors convened by Philip Zaleski and HarperCollins publishers.[25]
Autobiography of a Yogi describes Yogananda's spiritual search for enlightenment, in addition to encounters with notable spiritual figures such as Therese Neumann, Anandamoyi Ma, Mohandas Gandhi, Nobel laureate in literature Rabindranath Tagore, noted plant scientist Luther Burbank (the book is 'Dedicated to the Memory of Luther Burbank, An American Saint'), famous Indian scientist Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose and Nobel Prize winning physicist Sir C. V. Raman.[26]
Bodily incorruptibility
As reported in Time Magazine on August 4, 1952, Harry T. Rowe, Los Angeles Mortuary Director of the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendale, California where Yogananda's body was embalmed,[27][28] stated in a notarized letter:The absence of any visual signs of decay in the dead body of Paramahansa Yogananda offers the most extraordinary case in our experience.... No physical disintegration was visible in his body even twenty days after death.... No indication of mold was visible on his skin, and no visible drying up took place in the bodily tissues. This state of perfect preservation of a body is, so far as we know from mortuary annals, an unparalleled one.... No odor of decay emanated from his body at any time....

si master mori lage nah..nindot kaau na iyang teachings ug technique..
but unfortunately, a lot of people do not like aikido.. they prefer the more "aggressive" karate, or kendo.. ang wala nila nahibaw-an kay kung maau na jud ka sa any kind of judo, di na mangita ug away.. ug ang mangaway nimo, imo na lng likayan kaysa sugaton nimo..
So you mean God being composed of energies is also symbolical in nature? Then how is he communicating with us through those energies which you mentioned if those are just symbolic? How can I perceive him through my senses when I meditate if he is just symbolic?yes. Aren't we gods symbolically speaking?
Well this help me recognize him by seeing, feeling, smelling, hearing and tasting as you have said?Theosophy can help you discern the difference between the Anthromorphic GOD, and Transcendent/Immanent GOD as ONE!
What kind of truth is this all about? Is this proven by empirical science? Is it on the same field with the bible?Another source of TRUTH is the Spiritual Classic "THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGI" by: Paramahansa Yogananda
@regnauld,
sure ka moy nga tinood na tanan nga mga libro nga imong gipang mention? kung truth na sila tanan, nagkahiusa kaha nang mga libroha o nagkontrahay kung atong ikompara ang usag usa?
pag tsur kuno moy...![]()
hello hands. the book speaks of truth in its own right. it wouldn't be fair to those who are fond of Yogananda if you question it's being level with the bible. while the bible may contain truths in it, Yogananda's book also contain truths in it. it wouldn't be right to find faults in it by empirical science, because i could say the same thing about the bible. let's just respect each other, shall we?
