1. Download the theme. Sa Desktop lang ibutang para dali makit an.
2. Click System>Preferences>Appearance. Click on the Theme tab. Drag the downloaded theme file to the Appearance Preferences window.
or
Instead of dragging the theme to the Appearance Preferences window, click on Install button. Navigate to where you saved the downloaded theme. Double click on the theme once you find it.
(If mag error nga Invalid File Type- this is because the downloaded file was compressed. If this happens unzip the theme to the desktop and then drag and drop the unzipped file to the Appearance Preferences window.
If above procedure fails. Create a directory called .Themes on your home folder. Drag and drop the unzipped file to this folder. The theme you downloaded will appear on the Appearance Preferences the next time you download.
Note: In Linux folders with the dot (.) prefix are hidden. To show hidden directories press ctrl-H while in nautilus or look for the "show hidden files" among the menus of the file manager.
Good luck.
thanks.. it's still not looking like the one on deviantart..
you will need a Rezlooks Engine and Pixmap Engine.those are quotes from their descriptions.. what are those engines? You will need the pixmap engine and mist engine
Those are "engines" to render the themes. Is there no documentation on this on the website you're downloading from? I tried to look for those engines in Synaptic, only found pixmap. Maybe the website has those?
