    hehehe, dili man ko chef uyyy,
    instead of being a deck cadet, i started out as a messman lang, long ago...

    Dali raman kay dili man ako mag-buhat sa kimchi paste, by pail man sad ang order namo ana sa mga chandler.
    btw, naa man available kimchi paste sa SM supermarket.

    Ingredients;
    Chinese cabbage (pwede sad white radish or other vegetables)
    Kimchi paste
    salt
    water

    1. soak chinese cabbage (or radish, etc) leaves in water
    2. sprinkle salt
    3. soak overnight
    4. rinse cabbage and transfer to new container, coat w/ kimchi paste layer by layer.
    5. Refrigerate for 1 week ( 7 days...as per my captain's order, kasab-an ko permi if less than 7 days, iya man sad mahibaw-an after niya ma-taste )
    6. slice and serve.

    as i've said dali ra kay naa man mi ready-made kimchi paste,
    If you prefer home-made kimchi paste, you can always make your own.
    And there's a nice tutorial here:
