That black hole is either the result of post-processing (i.e. video editing, which I highly doubt), or just the phone's CCD auto-shutting out the intense brightness of the sun to protect itself. Nothing extraordinary is going on.

does that imply that the clouds above the Philippines has ice composition? i'm asking this coz I don't think ice can form in a temperature above 30 degrees C.

Ahhh..ok..I'm not familiar with photography or cameras but I do suspect that it has something to do with the camera.

@rodsky.. bro I observed that the black object in the center of the sun did not move when the camera angle changes..is it because the center of the sun is the brightest?
