by the time you invest bai, unsa ang NAVPS mao jud na ang basehan
kay you are buying shares man. so if the market goes up or down, your shares gain/lose value accordingly. but manageable ra kaayo ang risks as long as mag peso cost averaging ka and long term imo plan.

    Kato last bro.

    For example:

Last say. You invest P100.00 in the first month and NAVPS is P100. No. of stocks in that month is 1
Second month, You invest P100.00 and NAVPS is P50.00. No. of stocks in that month is 2
Third month, You invest P100.00 and NAVPS is P25. No. of stocks in that month is 4.
Fourth month, You invest P100.00 and NAVPS is P20. No. of stocks in that month is 5.
Fifth month, You invest P100.00 and NAVPS is P25. No. of stocks in that month is 4
Sixth month, You invest P100.00 and NAVPS is P50.00. No. of stocks in that month is 2

After six month. You want to know total amount of investment.

    First month = 1
    Second month = 2
    Third month = 4
    Fourth month = 5
    Fifth month = 4
    Sixth month = 2
    _____________________
Total no. of shares in six month is 18
Last NAVPS is P50.00 (six month)

Total amount = No. of shares x NAVPS
    = 18 x 50
    = P900.00

Total contribution is P600.00. Total value is P900. Gain after 6 months is P300.00.
    50% gain over six months.

I hope I answer your question.
