I don't think I'm being off-topic, since the thread title clearly states QUESTIONS/DOUBTS/WRONG PRACTICES to the Catholic Church, and I'm stating just that.

We are talking about the history of our church. Why can't you provide one?

I'll make it easy for you, what is your church denomination? and who founded it? when and where?

Jesus died for our sins? God will one day come at judgment time? Life after death? Heaven and Hell? Purgatory? I could go on and on.



I prefer not to answer the latter. But the point is that, one doesn't need to be a scientist. It is also rather insulting to students of science, and to people who have a constant search for knowledge, to be presented with gibberish non-sense. How can we expect to gain knowledge of the universe from a book written by peoples of the ancient who have limited knowledge of ASTRONOMY and PHYSICS?
