    @nijazared welcome brad,

    Eto pa isa,

    Catholic church teaches/ believes in the so-called "ORIGINAL SIN"
    Catholic Encyclopedia
    Original sin may be taken to mean:
    (1) the sin that Adam committed;
    (2) a consequence of this first sin, the hereditary stain with which we are born on account of our origin or descent from Adam.

    Is it Biblical? NO!

    Eze 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

    Pakisagot lang po.

    Now, did Jesus command us to make representations to which we should kiss and pray when we worship him?
    The Bible was written by apostles and disciples of Jesus Christ to serve as a guide for people who believe in him. The ten commandments clearly states that idolatry is a sin, and that there shall be no other gods before him. God never commanded us to make rosaries and kiss an image of him when praying, did He?
    Since this is a Questions/Doubts/Wrong Practices to the Catholic Church, can you give me a doctrine of the catholic church stated in our catechism (Vatican II) that is contrary to what your stated above?

    let us follow your logic brad if that is the case, it is also dumb to pray in the first place because God is knowledgeable of your earthly concern before you even ask help from him.

    If sayop man kaha TANAN ang paganism, then akong question naa ba kay kaugalingong calendar O naa ba iyong Church nga kaugalingon nga calendar para di sad ka GUILTY? kay kaning adlaw tanaw sa week sa pagano ra ba ni, nya mga roman gods ra ba ni.

    Para dili matawag strawman ang imo logic. Give me an official doctrine from the Catholic Church dayon atakiha.

    I do not know any of the doctrines from your catechism (Vatican II). What I am asking about is the justification that kissing and praying to your statues is not idolatry. And if there is any verse in the Bible that God gave his command to make a representation of him and to include that in worshiping Him.

    It is the practice that I am referring to. Mao gani gibring up na siya since based on what we understand it is considered as idolatry which is a sin according to the Ten Commandments, but Catholics deem it as a representation only. If you have doctrines that justifies these actions then bring it up so we could discuss the topic. Not by saying that its "straw", how do you expect someone who is not a Catholic to know what your doctrines are?
