Thanks mga masters! Tried to read up some more info on this and naglibog na nuon ko. What I saw was while the processor is indeed excellent, the choices for the motherboard chipset puts me in a bind. Was going to go for the "k" processor because of the integrated HD 3000. I wanted to try some overclocking kay sayang man ang unlocked "k" so this leads me to the P67 chipset. But the quicksync feature which I plan to use is only available with the integrated graphics and so only on the H67 chipset. Tsk! Tsk! Any suggestions?

Walay way out ana bro. As it currently stands, the HD3000 feature is only available sa H motherboard platform. Ang problema ani na platform is dili pang enthusiast particularly sa PCIE ug overclocking potential. If you want OC and the PCIE then the P platform has to go. But be aware u will sacrifice the quicksync feature jud. From my reading, I hear the Z platform might fix this. Also locidlugix has a promising gpu virtualization feature which it is already trying to implement but these solutions I mentioned are for the future pa....

So there is hope! Just wish the z-boards don't take too long in getting here and don't cost too much. Thank you @P0w3rM0v3 and @werty. You guys make my day.

@Sempron Guy, saw some articles re the Lucid technology you mentioned earlier. Am amazed, the motherboard makers have not taken this up. It seems like an elegant solution to the integrated/discrete GPU setups. I can imagine it on desktops to save on energy and on laptops so the battery is prolonged all while providing flexibility for those who like to game from time to time
