    The admin can edit your usergroup so that you can login right away, BUT as what sir vern said: "there really is no way for us to verify he is who he is".

    The best jud unta ang email confirmation.

    Well.. if mao man gani na.. better save nalang a copy of email confirmation. That case, if something might went wrong sa email domain then we can still rectify. Not sure if acceptable ba na sa admins?

    Yeah I got cliff, the email verification will be send to the new email add not the old one. Was able to change my email and verified it..

    @PEDRO ok ra bai, cause you don't need the old email in changing your email address as long as maka login ka sa istorya you can change your email and verify it through the new email.

    Good stuff bro! but what if worst nga scenario .. example ani kay >> you can no longer login sa istorya kay limut naka sa imong istorya password and at the same time wala na ang email domain.

    I think better cguro if you have a backup copy of your email confirmation gikan sa istorya team para at least ma prove gihapon nimo na-existing member ka.

    Seriously, I would like to ask feedback from mods or admins..
    Does email confirmation suffice to retrieve an account?

    Scenario:
    -Forgotten istorya password
    -Email domain is no longer available
    -Only have backup email confirmation (forwarded to another email domain)

    First two palang daan, you're already SOL. Di man ka maka retrieve sa imong password kay non-working na nga e-mail address ang naa sa imong account.

    @PEDR0, if that's the case, then authenticity comes in. How will the admin make sure you are who you are? Unless you're a paid member. Forwarded back-up email confirmation can't be always authentic since it can be flawed same thing as printing and scanning it as evidence. One option I think is admin will require you to answer all non-public details from your account like age and date of birth (if set as hidden), your IP address, what board you've last visited, how many threads you have subscribed, etc. Worst, you'll need to provide official notarized document as per vern.

    Inig ukay namo sa imong records, your most recent email ang nakalista didto.
    A back-up from your old email is not enough since dili naman na mao ang naka-associate nga email account.

    I am guessing that you mean "back-up from your old email" kay kung backup from new email it means makasulod ka sa imong new email kay nabasa man nimo ang confirmation.

    A copy of your email confirmation gikan sa karaan nga email is useless because it does not match the new email address.

    Ah okay, so if sakto ni nga dili enough ang (forwarded or backup) email confirmation then this answers the questions. Notarized document would be neat... up ko ani
