tali ka sa imong employer = mostly its only 2yrs contract, and that time you will be able to look around, find new friends, who can assist you find a petitioner. and if ur work is satisfactory the employer will petition itself.
unlike u go there uncertain and mostly end up work u dont like, coz layo ra imo training or career.

cant take your family with you and usually (if not all) it's a blue collar job = i think you can bring along your family, problem is expense and support. kay ikaw raman nag work thou maybe ur spouse can find work later.

sometimes couple finds work together upon leaving, thou chances are they work farther apart. who will take care of the kids wud be the problem.

i beg to disagree doki, from what I know, contract workers cannot bring their family or anybody here, kay contrata ra sila, without a contract/visa/petition, among others, u cant enter canada. 2 years contract is renewable, duha ra pasabot ana, ma renew ka sa imong employer or dili, u have 3 months to find a new employer na mu support sa imong LMO, if not, go back to pinas ka, with the economy now, from what I read and see and hear(say) sa news and filipino communities, they are minimizing the contract workers to cater the unemployed citizens and immigrants. Swerte2x ra kung maka kita kag employer to sponsor your papers kay that will equal to expense and lose of employee sa ila compare if mu renew ra sila sa contract, but again, that depends sa inyong gi sabot before u sign the contract kung unsay long term plan sa imo. I know a lot of contract workers na gi sige ra sila renew, and most kay wa na gi renew, mao kuyawan napud sila coz they are pressure to find another employer to support their contract, and in that case, back to uno napud sila, on the other hand, advantage mga pinoy workers here, because one thing, we are known for being hard worker, so prefer ta compared sa mga puti esp. mga batan.on kay mga wa nay paki sa trabaho, the sad part is, matali lagi ka sa employer, esp. if you work good, u know what they say, dont be the best employee coz your boss wont let you go
