Default Unsay mas nindot nga kurso IT or ICT?

    4 years nang ICT?

Anyway, about sa imo pangsulti. Tanan math will, in one way or another, help you in honing your programming skills. So, ayaw ka discourage if daghan ra kaau ug math na feel nmu wla juy relevance sa imo future career. Karon rana ang feeling, any math that teaches you theories and algorithms even arithmetic and it's concepts, will help you become a better programmer.

Pero ako advise noh. Since, first year pmn ka, shift and focus on another field or industry. That's, of course, if you're interested in other things (biology, for example). Kay by the time mu graduate ka noh, programmers will be a dime a dozen.

Programmers will become, for the technology field, what registered nurses are to the medical field.

Of course, you'll have to take this advise with a grain of salt. I cannot, after all, foretell the future. These are just thoughts and (unsubstantiated?) conclusions that I've come to. After ~7 years in the game.

The thing is there's no such thing as irrelevant mathematics in programming. I doubt mao nay itudlo sa college. Pinaka basic tingai is algebra. Which is, in itself, quite useful when programming.

Kana nuon English 1 or Rizal or PE. Although, lingaw to learn about these things kani jd ang mga irrelevant na subjects. Pabayron pka aron mu pasar. Mao nay lolz.

OT: you need communication as a developer so needed gihapon ang English, you need to be healthy and active so need gihapon ang PE, ang Rizal para sa ato history and sense of identity, all in all needed ni sila na subjects para holistic ang imo learning, dili kimapang. pero kung dili ka ganahan ana then study at your own pace, self-study or go to centers na mo tudlo ra ug specific na languages (i.e. kanang training sa Tesda)

@Untrue , sauna pareha pud ko nimo mo reklamo og mga math subjects nga tan aw nko walay gamit, pero pag sugod nako trabaho.. nya lain2x project, from business apps to games, na realize nko nga magamit d i.

Labi nanang discrete math, o gamit kaayo, naka realize ko nga gamit dai ng Matrix nga topic pag sugod na nakog explore about 3D graphics programming.

@fixyourself sakto ka bai, foundation gyud nang discrete math sa programming without diving into code. ma han-ay gyud imong way of thinking

Uo 4 years gihapon ang ICT.

If kailangan gud og discrete math ang 3D programming then I guess I have to dive in it, fearlessly.

    pwede rani dri oi.

@TS- You missed my point. Ang ako lng ato kay is if naa kay lain hilig ba, like, biology or physics or unsa pa diha. Branch out, ayaw i-limit imo kaugalingon tungod lng kay hilig kag programming. Makat-onan rajd through self-study and kung mao jd imo hilig, mahitabo jd na makat-on ka.

So, in effect, ako gusto lng jd ipagawas ani kay daghan kaau programmers but a biologist who can code? or a physicist who can code? Now that's something. Ganahn mn unta pd kog physics.

Anyway, wla tika gi discourage from being a programmer. Definitely, one of the few skills that I'm really happy about, are my programming skills. I'm just pointing out that you don't have to limit yourself. Especially, if preha ka sa most programmers, thirsty jd for knowledge. It was never about the money.
