i told dem before dat i wanted to take up architecture or fine arts..but they insisted to take up nursing since it's the profession of my mom and it would be practical and lisod daw pangita work as a architecture or if ur a fine arts graduate..but my mom told me that i cud take any course i want after i graduate in nursing and pass the board..after i passed d board, i asked her if i cud take up architect na, my just said "okay, but out of your own money na since pwede nka makakita og job as a nurse."...wa ko katingog..wa nlng jd ko..

man oh man.. i think its about time to do justice sa imu pagka nurse. you're mom will hate me for telling you this.. do what u want. go abroad. at least mao man na ang "practical". i have friends who made it sa states as a physical therapist. it took them years and money to go abroad but they had that perseverance. basta the more they think about it, the more malangan sila ug larga hehehe. just do it at a steady pace lang while you enjoy your time here. obedience is always a virtue. but so is freedom and respect.

i'm planning to work abroad but my family is totally against it..i'm 24 yrs old..they treat me like a child ghapon..youngest man gud ko..i know they are worried about my safety but at least they should respect my decision, come what may..

in most cases sakto ang parents, i'm not saying this because i'm a parent na,but i'm not also saying nga sakto me permi. . .could be because you haven't proven yourself with them nga you could stand by your own or could be, nga they think you could do or have something better than that.

try to impress them,prove to them that you have something in you.
Gain thier trust,so you could gain your freedom.
