1. I'm not charging 60 for design alone. In fact, I'm a lousy designer. I'm probably 80/20 on the developer/designer scale.
2. This thread is not about showing of skills.
3. Again, I don't have to prove anything to you or anyone else. I can but it won't make a difference. People will believe what they want. And they will hang on to that belief and bring you down until they feel they've made amends with their ego.
4. I already gave examples. Too lazy to look them up? Really don't care.

Everyone missed the point of this thread. This was supposed to be a guide for the newbie programmer. Instead, people keep saying that this thread is crap because they feel that I'm getting too much of a good deal.

Classic crab mentality. Don't want any of that. And if you want us to progress, you shouldn't want any of that, either.

crab mentality, is the easy excuse to NOT show any work at all, rates are obviously tied to talent and skill, soo you dont have design skills, whats the hardest project you worked on then? and show us some completed work, i mean if you have some, any at all talent why dont you link us to your work?

^ Mao rani ako beef with anyone, when people start to question my integrity. Samot na pajd when they start to question nya tapulan diay kau mubasa sa whole story. I posted my rate, people say I lie and ask for samples. I posted my samples, people, again, say I'm lying. I react to this, people still say I'm lying. I refer back to my examples, they still say I'm lying. Di jd ta kadaog ani.

I agree with you bai, Im a freelancer and i have a circle of friends who are also into freelancing. 60USD/hr is just too much. I wish I have a client as generous as that.

galalis naman mu ani oi... hehehe... maau baya unta ni nga reference... nahan baya jud ta ko basa dri para sad makabalo ko pila ako i-charge sa client... Since reference man ni xa kung pila ang icharge sa client, mas maau guro nga part sa pag-post kung pila ang rate, ato butangan ug description or unsa jud ang g-buhat ani nga site nga inyo g-trabaho para sad ato masukod nga kung ingon ani ang task nga buhaton, ani pud ang rate... or depende sad kung unsa ang reason nganu nga kana man nga rate ang inyo g-charge sa client... I think mas-makatabang kung ingon ana nga pamaagi or naa pa mu lain idea para mas-nindot sad ato makuha nga information gkan sa atong mga kapareha dri nga developers/designers... pwde sad butang mu sa inyo examples or any means nga para maka-ingon ta nga kung ani nga project mao ni ato i-charge...

opinion lang na nako ha... kung naa mu lain opinion aron manindot sad ato makuha ani nga thread sama sa g-hunahuna ni TS, pwde sad ato i-share kay nindot sad baya jud ni nga idea... makatabang jud na...
