    very little progress with our pit..have difficult time finding time walking her..not being consistent.still try to walk her.except that her neck gets irritated by the collar...i dont want her to get additional wounds.luoy kaayo.i'll try other methods, though.i'm not willing to give up

    I suggest you try other methods other than Millan's. The problem with Millan's method is by the time you trained your dog, youll end up with a dog thats broken in spirit. Already saw a submissive pup trained in Cesar's way, the pup just shut off and won't walk because the handler kept jerking off the collar. I told him you cant fight force with force, its like beating up a baby for crying..... Thats OLD SCHOOL.

    Think of it this way, instead of PUNISHING the dog for PULLING, why not REWARD him for not pulling? Only introduce CORRECTIONS after the dog knows the command then he decides not to listen.

    I can't use millan's strategy because the neck of our pit gets irritated and even sustaining abrasions. even if millan says that the the upper part of the neck is the weakest out pit still pulls the opposite way even if i am not pulling her.i also tried food and toys as rewards.may be i'll let her loose with a leash next time..i'm out of options actually.
