i don't own a dslr but been hovering in the photography thread for awhile.
i stumbled across a site.
approximation ra ni on how many shots a specific model could take until it goes bye bye. again approximation. maybe shorter or longer.

Average number of actuations after which shutter is still alive: 126,788.3
Average number of actuations after which shutter died: 6,828.9

haha thats good to know, if i take an average of 34k shots a year, ive got 2 more years before i reach 102k shots and thats enough time for me to upgrade.

have 7k+ actuations sa akong d5k in a span of 5 months. may pagka trigger happy pd usahay ky newbie pa ani nga bisyo. lol
