Naa gihapon part ang government ani oi and its a big part, economic policy is dictated by the government. The government must stabilize economy (macroeconomics) , policy to boost the economy, job creations, regulation & anti-trust (so everyone competes fairly), poverty alleviation and many others.

What you guys are debating are personal decisions and yes it depends on their work but the government must ensure we all have opportunities to change our fortunes.

Agree pud naa gyud situation that in spite you did everything right and work hard for it, theres no or little progress. Like in business.. naa ka negosyo.. wa pud mupalit kaau kay lisod ang panahon ron.. way ayo di ba?

Pero hangtud karun daghan man ghapon kabos. Dili cguro tungod sa Gobyerno pero isa sa dako nga rason nga pobre ang uban tawo kay TUNGOD RA SAD SA KA HANGOL SA UBAN PUD NA TAWO.

kanang mo ingon nga maningkamot ra ta ma kwartahan ra lagi ka.. ignorante ra na sila sa tinuod nahitabo sa palibot.. ka daghan diha sobra pa sa paningkamot, paningtiil pa jud but they will remain poor because they do not have the resources and the means to make it happen...

ang pagka pobre sa usa ka tao dili lang tungod sa usa ka rason.. daghan rason which converge into one consequence.. pagka probre.

economics, education, talent, inheritance these are just a few factors that will affect the fortune of a man.

I understand you base what you say sa mga taong imong makit-an sa kadalanan nga tambay, nglimos ug uban pa. Lahi napod na nga case, and I condemn those people!

Mangutana ko sa imo, ok raka nga ang mga napaliton (commodity goods) mosaka pag-ayo sa presyo unya ang gobyerno wlay buhaton (incompetent man) as long as your so called hard work, multi-venture business, 2nd shift work keeps you earning money? Think long and hard, you badly need a reality check!

Kung gamay ra sweldo, daghan, business opportunities out there nga gamay ra capital bisan 3k+ lang pwdi naka mag negosyo pero imung i capital kay effort ug time(Lazy people can't survive into this business, but hardworking people will do succeed).

naa man gani na datu nga nag sugod sa Zero capital, but they invest themselves and commit to do something extraordinary to change their misery. Daghan opportunities out there, kung committed ka nga ma dato, daghan jud opportunities imung makit.an but kung mu focus ka sa mga if's and obstacles, dili jud ka ka kita sa opportunity.

We have too many excuses, we made excuses everyday until the day we die and did nothing different.

naa gani koy na ilhan nga mamalitay lag botelya nga scrap sa amo, yagit2x lang porma, pero ako gi interview kung pila iyang income everyday, hehehe mu limpyo siya ug 1K, mas dako pa kay sa gi sweldo.an ug minimum, pero he treat it as his livelihood, that is why iya ng na habit nga iya jud na ma kuha ang 1K everyday, imagina gud na. mas dako pa guru tog deposit sa banko kay sa nanrabaho sulod sa banko. yagit2x lang porma. hehehe!

I can agree to some points shared by this poster,,No way to blame because we are part of whatever is surrounding us,,the kind of gov't we have mirrors what kind of people we are.We might deny it but deep inside we know we have our own shortcomings that cannot be blamed to anyone but us,,mau ra ta mo pin point unsa sala sa gobyerno but we sometimes fail to follow simple rules in our house, school and community,,,if we start being good and law abiding individuals then in due time we will get a gov't we truly deserve.

mao ni gisulti bai nga. "You can't control the course of the weather but you can only control your boat".

Kay sa cge lang tag himantay ato (incompetent nga gov't), mag focus na lang tag livelihood., Just control your boat, you can't control the weather.

Unless you have the power to control the weather then go for it, but always check reality if ma control ba pud ang weather.

In reference to the title, is there a good time to be poor?
