Respect is given not earned. If its earned then this could be a dangerous theory. I give respect without expecting others to respect me. The same way to forgiveness, love and etc.

At first, ang ako concept kay dapat e earn usa sa person ang ako respect, before putting my trust and confidence on him/her.

But in the real world, there are times that we have no choice but to respect and bow to a person, even we believe that the person doesn't deserve it....

Now I believe I can make a person feel and think that I respect and honor him/her, but in reality I am just treading the situation and waiting for the right time to strike unknowingly...
