went to the orientation last night. lasted until morning. laliman lang sila'g pangilad ug mga tawo aning ilang orientation. i already told the HR manager that i am not going to apply as a call center agent but still gipugos jud ko nila ug pa-attend sa ilang orientation. in fact, they told me that i am already accepted in another department. pag-abot nako didto kay gahuwat intawn ko sa HR manager na ma-vacant... then i asked her when i can start... then ingon siya nga iyang dawaton kay naay experience. gipa-adto ko para mu-train as a call center agent. nah, I have just had my training with Ascend Asia in Cebu..company is located in 12th flr Keppel Bldg. in Ayala Cebu, unfortunately I have discovered something...this company doesn't have permits posted in the bldg premises. When I called SSS to verify I was told they cannot give me exact answer since a company can register it under a specific person's name but to check if they are SSS compliant, can just ask for the SSS plate which is supposed to be posted in every establishments. Next I called BIR, I was told that only Ascendasia makati is registered under BIR. It was also explained to me that a company cannot start even day 1 of operation if no BIR registration under the same locality where the branch is situated. Therefore, their registration permit under Makati address is not valid within Cebu City. So the OM of Ascend Asia here is Cebu just posted a void registration just to lure applicants out and hide the truth that the company is a SCAM. BIR is already planning to do onsite inspection of the said company..Hopefully they do it the soonest possible time before a lot of fresh grads and applicants will be dragged in this scam.Now, allowances were also released (200 per day including 12 hrs work) only upon the OM's discretion if you are fit to recieve the initial 800 pesos as first pay and then you will be told to come back at 11pm to get the remaining 1k . Grrrr!! See how disorganized, and unsystematized the company was? Will you still work for a company which does not abide on Philippine laws for mandates on employee benefits? What will happen to you if you need to be confined in the hospital and you found out you have no SSS nor Philhealth? worst is if your pay gets deducted for these supposed contributions?

also, when the OM was questioned by one of the agents why his promise for the release of the allowances were always unfulfilled on the dates he mentioned, he accused the agent of being arrogant and he yelled he doesnt want to see the agent's face again.. Whheeew! Haggard ko sa reaction sa opaw na OM na kulang og leadership. And the only thing he could immediately utter everytime he talks at the Ops floor is he will disqualify the agents if caught doing something against the company's policy..tssk..It's an outbound account and it's a call center.Isn't it supposed to be a fun and healthy environment? Murag martial law ang environment kay kung mo reklamo mo, tanggalon mo...that's why they want fresh grads aron dili moreklamo sa scam nila na kumpanya...
