Basing on Cebu's performance last year. 2010 has re-invigorated Cebu's economy and now 2011 will witness the second phase of CEBOOM. This time it will be the BPO, Tourism and Real Estate that will fuel the boom for more years to follow. Cebu has entered a point of no return, we are growing at a rate that far surpasses the national average.

maka.excite ang plans.. all we have to do now is to wait for the plans to be completed while at the same time, live our own lives. .
nindot noon nga ning asenso na ang cebu... hope ma maintain sad nila ang unsa ang naa nato rn...
i like dick gordon beyond anyone who had managed a city. hes the best mayor bfore in subic. i dont know in cebu nga busy ra mn pa dato ang ato government. project wise wla, price of commodities wala, security and lowering of crime wala, jeepneys who doesnt abide rules wala, corruption wala, tell me TS, they should do their job well. we public should notice the changes, we public should not be afraid to go out at night, we public should not be abused by govt employees nga dile nimo hulugan kwarta dile mu lihok... im not generalizing all though. but there are alot. price control wala jud. at the end its not the big people behind desk are suffering it is the general public. im talking about the welfare of this cebuanons. for me na luoy ko sa tnan nga ningkamot to make ends meet. gwen T.O. and rama should read this to be a wakeup call to them. do your job well that we could see the changes.![]()
Thanks. Actually, SM Seaside City Cebu is the new name of "SM Nautilus", it was kicked off this April 8, 2011 and will be completed by the 2nd quarter of 2013. The expansion of Ayala Center Cebu has also started, this is in response to SM. Robinsons land are still revising their mall plan to match the grand design being put up by it's rival Ayala land and SM Prime. Expect a new mall complex called "Robinsons Maxilom". Horizons 101 which is a twin tower with 55 flrs and 42 flrs respectively have also been selling like hot cakes. Filinvest's "Citta di Mare" project in SRP also started construction vis-a-vis SM's "Seaside City" complex.
Expect nalang ta og full-scale war between Ayala land, SM Prime, Robinsons land and Filinvest in their large-scale real-estate prokects in Cebu. Filinvest will be pouring in 25 billion, SM with 21 billion and Ayala with 3 billion for just the expansion of ACC. Robinsons nalang ang atong gihuwat.![]()
@leonell:
lage! klaru man... ang expasion sa ayala was that old PUJ/V-hire terminal man ryt?
this is gonna be great!) masuya jud ang mga taga-lain lugar ani.. haha..
^ Not to worry about that naman. Since Ayala is opening two new malls in Mindanao. Talo na tayo, Visayas has only one. Also, Davao will have two SM's, the one in Ecoland and SM Lanang. Thoough I confidently claim that none of those projects can match the grandeur of both ACC and SM Seaside City. The renders will make the difference.![]()
lol. i've read this forum (murag diri man japon to sa istoya. which city is best: manila, cebu, davao) and as i see, it's cebu which seems to be the best.
manila, taas ang economy, poor ang natural environment
cebu, ok ra ang economy, developing. nya dli sad worst ang natural environment, and actually, gi.protektahan na karon
davao, dli well-improved ang economy, nya better ang natural environment.
in the end, cebu has this balance nga ang uban city ,wala.![]()
^^ Yes, definitely. That's is why businessmen dubbed Cebu as the City with "The best of both Worlds". It is a balance of the two other cities.
As they say, Manila is too sophisticated and polluted, an image of a megacity.
Davao is too laid-back, forests and jungles plus the river. Very relaxing.
Cebu has both, it's booming but not as polluted as Manila is. It is also very refreshing with many natural wonders that can match DVO's.
