just read an article today.. mandaue city headed by clark palez is trying to make a Guinness record of making the biggest bingka...

specs:

185 square meters with 3 inches thickness..
using 100 sacks of rice and 200 sacks of uling... May 10 ang target ani nila

does putting as in the book of records help?

unsa man tawn ning book of records.. they rather have programs that can help poor people getting a job or any alternative.

indirectly, it can help generate attention to the city, and consequently improve tourism. tourism = jobs.

not to mention, nakakaun pud tingale ang mga taga-mandaue ug bibingka. apil na pud ni sya feeding program. hehe
