2nd is why would you not simplify 48/2 kung muask nalang ganeh ka ug ingun ana ra kasayun? and last is this, 2(9+3) see that? it's deceiving.

mao mao pero nibalihin jud kog answer, base lang sa pagsuwat sa equation. either way wala paman juy gibutang na right one so either way wala pajud ta kabaw hehehe

f u treat this equation as→ 48/2(9+3)= 288
if→ 48/(2(9+3))= 2

: therefore, parenthesis did matter juD!! nyahaha

this is some sort of a trick question open to different interpretations but using PEMDAS (48 ÷ 2 x 12) will yield 288. This is what the calculator would do if you do it in a linear way.

but this equation begs the question why is there a division sign and the multiplication is only implied by the parenthesis. others may interpret this as 48 all over (divided by) 2 times 9 + 3 (48 ÷ (2 x (9 + 3)) which is equal to 2.

i go for 288, strictly PEMDAS. this won't really be that confusing if this is written in a notation with a fraction bar (vinculum).
