    don't compare pilipino and japan, kay makita man jud nato ang sitwasyon sa pinoy. balaod nila lahi sa atoa. mao nang mo ana nalang ta kanindot nila

    It's worth comparing considering sa status sa atong country compared sa ilaha after WWII. Bisan kapila pa i-reset ang situation, ang outcome the same lang japon...

    It's true there is a "holier than thou" attitude here. Often when meeting people for the first time one of the first questions I'm asked is "are you a Catholic"? As if being Catholic automatically makes me a good person. The reality is that despite the overwhelming majority belonging to that faith corruption and ill-discipline are almost normal, so what then is the basis for pride and condescending attitude towards other beliefs? Perhaps we should forget about religion in favor of "community".
