l carnitine only helps speed up metabolism and metabolism is when food is turned into energy. L carnitine will not make u lose weight but it will help if u r dieting and working out to lose weight. still the key is proper balanced diet and being physically active

lolz, L-carnitine has never been a fat burner it just hasten the metabolic process which means if you don't work out while taking in L-carnitine it would me you fat rather than slimmer.
