Just a suggestion, if you want to play the current games at "high" settings and fast frame rates, buy a video card with a digit higher than 6 in their second digit models. That's one quick way to know how fast the card is. Video card makers rank their video cards based on the second digit, 8 or 9 are ideal if you have the budget. The first digit just indicates the generation of the video card model. Nvidia's current generation model is at 5, while ATI's is at 6. It's going to be expensive now to get those current generation cards.

Werty suggested an ATI Radeon HD 5770. For that card model, first digit is 5 and the second digit is 7. The first digit (5) means it's just a 1 year older generation card. Not that old. The second digit (7) means it's faster than the ATI mid range 5670 card. It should be worth saving an additional amount more for that. It's not how much memory a video card has, it's how fast it can process graphics.

AMD 58XX are way better than 68XX.

i think the only edge of the 68XX series are the lower power draw.

daghan man tingali gabaligya ug mga HD5770 diri sa istorya(5k - 6k), naay mga months old palang nagamit... ako amigo kapalit tong niagi ug HD5770 for 5k (wala pa bulan nagamit).

pasuggest pud ko which vcard is better jud... nagplan man gud ko mobuy og vcard... momatter ba na sa brand kung mopalit ka? like for example... xfx and msi nya the same nga model... pareha ra ba ang dagan ana mga bro? confuse lang ko... naa man gud uban brand nga barato nya the same model ra nya sa laing brand naa pud mahal ang price nya the same ra nga model...

Suggest nku bro igoogle ang reviews sa "same model but different brands".. I read na other cards, even though na same model, Different manufacturers use different materials, so it affects temperature and quality as well.. lastly warranty and reputation..
