I would say go get any Android phone. I have the Desire HD myself. I am very very very very happy with it. Although if I had the choice to buy a phone right now, I would get the Samsung Galaxy S2 or the LG Optimus or the Sony Xperia Arc with the Galaxy S2 as the most likely choice. Yes, I agree. Samsung's designs tend to look like apple at first glance but not exactly when you examine it in detail. They blow away apple by a huge factor in terms of features anyway.

As for Android, it is simply a very awesome OS for a phone. I really love it. I've had an iTouch before and have played around with an iPhone. Android just blows away the iOS.

If i have to choose between samsung and HTC... ill choose HTC without any doubt...

samsung's great and their displays a topnotch but...

samsung always looks plasticky and cluncky... hey its just me... IMHO

i have galaxy s i9000 no problems...but I advise you to wait for the galaxy s2...iphone 4 and android phones are both good phones has there own advantage and disadvantage...the only thing i don't like about the iphone is its too over priced!

iphone 4 for apps... android is nice but its still not as smooth as ios... needs a little more time to be perfect... (not that ios is perfect) but as of now, ios really is a superior os for now.

(its like mac vs w7, wats better??!?, really depends)
