Hope San Miguel can come in earlier so it can compete with the existing telecom and internet providers. This would be beneficial to all of us customers. If they service and plans are nice, I would transfer to them.

1 GB average not per day limit? Do you understand what you are talking about?

I agree with this,,if mao ra ni ila option para mu-cut ang illegal movie downloads ug piracy then good,,!But hope they will assure us users na they will back it up with good service, "faster" if I may say. Sorry but I don't think some of previous posters understand the issue, kahibaw ko slow/poor ang service sa globe because I'm also a globe subscriber but also,, its business,,I-filter lang nila ang bandwidth sa ilaha users..and my God if I'm only opening facebook, youtube, videostream(sometimes) and emails di jud na makaaffect sa ako internet life,,if they win this over,, we can expect na na filter na nila ang mga "abusive" users who were also reasons for technical issues sometimes sa ilaha network,,It's also a matter of self-discipline,,

A lot depends on how this "average" usage is measured.... weekly, monthly, quarterly? Basically they are cherry-picking their customers and anybody who uses YouTube a great deal or has a subscription to Netflix will suffer.

but then again, it's just your lifestyle... what about those who are doing business through the internet? (I'm not referring to piracy business)

there are lots of business that needs more that 1gb of data to install like sharing softwares for their business (that are free..) like online games...

so this won't really work. protest will rise and a bunch of competitors will take their chances.... they're just waiting for the right timing. like if this capping will really be implemented.

I'm currently planning to change to 5mpbs skycable broadband... I think a lot of people have the same thought already...

Kasabot ka sa imong argument? ngano imo man pabayaron ang sobra mogamit ug bandwidth nga ang nakabutang sa ilang subscription plan pag-pirma nimo sa contract UNLIMITED man. And if ever naa man gani clause it should be printed clearly, not an asterisk or a footnote that you'd need a microscope to read what is stated. Public/customer deception to earn more money man ni nga scheme.

I'm a part-time virtual desk assistant, I upload gigabytes of photos/videos online for my portfolio, i stream news daily coz it's part job, mao bitaw reason high-end nga plan akong gikuha and yet mag-limit sila ug 1GB per day? Nabuang na

BTW ang skybroadband naay 15GB cap for 30days in case you don't know, and they have 35GB cap for heavy users.
