and oh, i read in an article that HTC will be rolling out OTA updates for our DESIRE HDs. we will be getting gingerbread this april daw. fingers crossed. maita di ni ma delay. or maita tinuod ang gisulti sa htc. the original DESIRE will be getting gingerbread too pero late second quarter na dw. mao sd ang reason na i want to unroot my phone soooo bad. maita naai mka help nga malumoy ug kasingkasing.

mao sad ni rason why dili ko mo root sa ako fon....nagpaabot ko sa updates. nya warranty purposes pud. anything can happen within the warranty period.

to unroot your desire download the official untouched HTC Desire RUU ROMs (ask Mr. Google where to get them), run it and wait for it to finish

ingon ana ra kasayon mag-unroot or to go back to stock rom

bitaw if you cant find an application that can unroot your phone. you can just flash a stock rom, if you're successful your phone will return to it's stock rom and will be unrooted and your warranty will not be void(not sure though).

another possibility is what if naguba na imo phone (i.e. dili na mo on, etc.) how can you flash it to its original content and then you claim for warranty?

so i think, IMHO, better wait nalang ma expire ang warranty before doing anything to our phones. as long as mo function pa and serves our purpose...

i'm just playing safe.

well depende nana owner, that is why in every tutorial thread that i read they always put a warning first. that flashing certain ROMS might brick your phone, so flash at your own risk.

like me i took the risk of rooting my phone 1 week after i got it, cause the apps that i want to use requires a rooted android. lucky me did'nt encounter any major problem .. hehe

ive tried sir. and i know where to get them. i followed modaco's guide in unrooting. kaso murag halos tanan RUU nga akong na dload, ky mu prompt nga dli daw sakto ang rom akong gamit.

sa xda bro naa daghan kapilian

usa ra ka procedure ang possible maka brick sa unit and that is flashing radio and it will only take 2 minutes tops pero kung naa ka ups or laptop imo gamiton pag flash sa radio way gyud kulba bisan gamay

just make sure nga sakto ang rom md5 checksum sa downloaded files, meaning dili corrupt ang imo na download nga file before flashing
