I believe most guys are intimidated by smart/successful women, because in our society we have the stereotype that as the guy in a relationship/marriage you have to be on top/in control and smart/successful women threaten that control.

I like smart/successful women, I find them very sexy. They have great personalities and I don't get bored talking to them. Beautiful but brainless women are a dime a dozen and don't hold my interest for long. As well, beauty fades in time but intelligence and a quick wit persist to old age. My girlfriend is a law student and not only is she beautiful but she has a really great personality and never runs out of things to talk about.
