In the first place, did he say that there is no corruption in Japan? In the second place, you seem to be conveniently ignoring the fact that there is a difference in the degree and pervasiveness of corruption. Japan is ranked #18 out of 180 countries in the corruption index, which puts it in the same league as the United States. That is, they have corruption but it is of a mild and non-pervasive nature. The Philippines on the other hand is ranked #134 out of 180, not quite at the bottom of the barrel but very nearly so.
You don't even need studies like this to open your blinded, illogical mind. If you've ever been to Japan and dealt with their government over there the difference is like night and day. Their government knows service, professionalism, timeliness and courtesy. Our government offices here know arrogance, sloth, tardiness and rudeness.
Why are you so blinded by the grotesque nature of corruption in your own country? Is it possibly because you yourself were in the take, particularly during the time of Arroyo whom you seem to idolize like a God? Miss the good old times?
