Hi guys!

I just registered today mainly to look for more information about your city and to seek help at the same time. My girlfriend and I are both from Davao City. She will be moving to Cebu tomorrow and will be staying at Alicia Tower. She will be starting her training at Convergys Banawa on Monday. I'm just very nervous for her since she doesn't know anybody in Cebu nor does she have any relatives from there. Everything is totally new for us (I will be moving there next week as well) so please forgive me if I have several questions that I'm hoping you guys would answer. I would really appreciate your help.

Here are some of my questions:
- How far is Convergys Banawa from Alicia Tower? (in terms of kilometer; if anyone here is from Davao, can you compare some landmarks here in Davao?)
- How many jeepney rides will it take her to reach Convergys Banawa from Alicia tower?
- Is transportation available 24/7?
- Is it safe to ride PUJ early in the morning? Let's say around 2:00am. (call center agent)
- How much is the average carenderia meal in Cebu?

No. Especially if you're living in the city. Be extra cautious.

Bro, no way trust me. I've seen people getting rubbed and hold-up by riding PUJ that early.

if mu out mga 2AM better take a little nap for atleast mga 3-4hours by that the time will be 5AM or 6AM atleast daghan2x na ug mga taw kasabay nimo pag uli...

ayaw lang jud e display imong mga valuables like cellphone, etc.

its quite far bro..i dont know the exact distance

2 rides( 13C, 12L in ayala will bring her to CONVERGYS

There are less jeepney during dawn but there are jeepneys
- How much is the average carenderia meal in Cebu?
you can find lot of cheap carenderias here in cebu. just be careful sa food sanitation, coz there are cheap carenderia but hugaw but naa pud mga barato then limpyo

by the way, convergys banawa sad ko! kuyaw jud 2Am travel going there magjeep, better taxi or private nga sakyanan..

Hey, thanks for posting this thread link. This would really help us a lot! And I enjoyed reading most of the posts there.

@mitchy: Convergys will provide us 1 month accommodation by the time we will be deployed in Cebu and Alicia Tower I think is an affiliate (or something like that). I will be assigned to work at Convergys IT Park while my girlfriend will be at Convergys Banawa. So I guess we will be renting a place somewhere in between after one month.

@mr.sniper: Thanks for the tips bro! It's not as expensive as what I've heard man diay.
