    kasagaran sa pinas apil na sa company policy nga convertible ang sl to cash. sa imong sitwasyon karon, mura dili na mahatag nimo kay awol man ka, gawas kung cleared ka sa company. parehas ta nahitabo before ko ninglarga diri singapore, last pay, sl ug vl nako wala gihatag sa company kay wala koy clearance. dili man sad gud sila mosugot nga mo resign ko. so, awol na lang ko.

    SL VL is company benefits. Ang provided lang sa law is 5 days leave per year. so discretion jud na sa company

    but just to clarify something... i tendered my resignation... like i said immediate...but they didn't accept it... and they're tagging me as ABSENT... and because it has been a couple of days so AWOL... so some of you are saying if i didn't go on AWOL i should have gotten it... so it's like saying that i STILL NEED TO WORK with that GOD FORSAKEN company... but let me tell those people that are currently working on the BPO industry... it's already MARCH... have you gotten your SL's earned last year? this question is to those people that are working with these companies that actually refund SL's earned from the previous year... because like i said it's already MARCH... wala pa gihatag...

    I'm not actually asking for it right away but it should be part of my LAST PAY... and I will show up on the EXIT interview and get myself cleared...that is for sure...my wife will inform me and i'm sure this company will call me if ever...if they won't ako napud mu sulong didto...

    i guess what i'm asking is if i have the right to fight for it...

    bro, i think depende pud na sa policies sa company... og kung unsay naa sa contract nga imong gi pirmahan... double check sa bro before ka mo sulong nila kay lisud sad mabalikan nuon ka...

    like sa among company, dili convertible among tanan leaves (use it or loose it)...

    pde sad ka mo dangup sa DoLE guro...

    TS, as far as I have remembered, naa man gud sa Labor Law nga at least 30 days notice before ka mo resign. Depende rana sa company if sugtan ka ug immediate resignation or dili. If dili sila mosugot, then you are inclined to follow the mandatory 30-days resignation notice. AWOL jud ka ana, without legal question.

    Pero, regarding sa imong Sick leave credits, as to all who posted here, upon resignation ma apil na sa imong last pay ONLY if cleared naka sa company. Swerte gani ka kay getagaan naka ug last pay. Some companies will hold the latest salary of the AWOL employee unless magpa cleared usa.

    So, ako advice nimo, dapat ka moadto personally sa imong previous company ug magpa clear. They are obliged nga mo atubang nimo. If dili ka nila atubangon, go to DOLE to ask for further advice.

    If you can afford, get a lawyer for advice... but I don't think it is necessary.

    salamat tanan sa inyong mga tubang... i guess ang ako-ah nalang jud ani si too wait for my clearance and exit interview... then my last pay...

    Yes Sir.. eligible japon ka since you own your SL credit every month. If AWOL ka which means unpaid.. wala na gikaltasan imng SL credits.. They cannot take your SL credits away from you just because nag AWOL ka.

    But that is just based on my current company's practice (which everything is being scrutinized by HR to avoid any labor issues) but basin pud ang uban company mo hold jud ug SL conversion..

    get cleared then you'll get the SL with the last pay.

    that is if, it was clearly stated in the contract that you will be paid for all unused SL. Otherwise, if wala na cya didto naka state then weak jud imu justification..

    I know that you are just (too) carried away sa thought na dili pa ka mahatagan sa imu SL credits. But for you to take legal action on that would mean spending MUCH and when we say much.. MUCH MORE pa sa imu gi dispute nga SL Credit/conversion. hehe (whatever you guys call that)

    swerte jud nang na employd ka ug kanang company na murefund ug leave credits nimu.. sa ako previous company kay e consume jud.. wala man gani ko naka avail saku 23 days na leave kay nagkaproblem ako statement sa RL naku.. result sa poor HR works.
