even armstrong ejected seconds before the simulated landing. if he hadn't he should have been killed in the explosion in one other the landing simulations.

the landing was problematic because in space and in the moon a small thrust from its side rockets could send the ship into a tailspin..that is why it is very difficult to maneuver when landing.

with today's technology it would be as easier and could cost less.

But why there is no plan of going back to the moon?
