I'm addicted to this game. I've never been addicted to a game for years now. It's just so awesome!!!
Good thing I pre-ordered the signature edition as there were lots of people at DB Ayala last night that were begging and will pay more for the signature edition but were flatly declined.![]()
lol there weren't many people in DB SM. I didn't pre-order the game since I only wanted the Black Emporium, which I got with the regular edition.
yeah, which probably contributes to the games easiness.I also think the combat runs better and is smoother as compared to DA1, i also like how the new inventory and armor system is managed.
I miss the isometric view though.
Played until 2am hehe. I miss alot of the stuff I loved about DA:O in Dragon Age 2. But taking it as a new game rather than the classic D&D games of yore helped in making me continue playing it. I like the skill tree changes but the UI for me looks so modern. I miss the UI and details from the original game. Also the codex is so minimal now like trying to make the codex content as short as possible. Maybe they are trying to cater to gamers who don't like reading? Console gamers? Tactical view is totally gone although you can zoom out the camera to allow you to see half of the battlefield. I still play tactical. Pause, analyse, position, unpause, attack, pause, pan camera, select skill, etc. But in DA2 I don't feel the need to play tactical too much. More like right click press 1 right click press 2, right click press 1 again. Imagine this. I killed an ogre in DA2 using right click press 1/2 method. No pausing. In DA:O ogre killed my entire party at the tower where I need to light the beacon.

lol when I fought the Ogre, I just mashed 1(Backstab).![]()
lol anyone been to DA2 forums in Bioware? much nerdrage.![]()
yeah. those guys really need to get out more.
it'll probably calm down after a few weeks... or months. or when the Witcher 2 comes out and everyone leaves hehe.
in any case, I'd want to hear what the devs think of the feedback. as well as Brent Knowles opinion of the game. he was the lead designer for DAO, but left because he did not like the direction DA2 went with.
oh and has anyone finished the game?
