i've been playing the ps3 version of DA2 and i think i already covered 1/3 of it's story. i already have 3 mages(a dalish elf, hawk sister and the blood mage from origins) also a dwarf rogue, a human warrior(sword and shield) and lately the two handed elf. wonder ko kay d ko maka change ug armor sa imo mga companions but you can change their weapons without any issues on all members. Did you experiance the same for PC version?

Thats why they say dumbed down to a "console level" and DA2, things have been over simplified!

It's like DA2 is a simplified game suited for RPG beginners alike persi non RPG hardcores. I was really disappointed with DA2 when they removed this feature since it is where you shape up your character. Like diablo 2, baldurs gate etc. Bioware sucks!

currently playing on my MacPro and planning to install also on my pc and pc in the office. hehe.

anyway, shocking lang kai simple na kaau ang game. wala gyud ko nag ka lisod. I remember playing DAO nga cge ko kamatay. DA2 is so simple. You don't even need to think about your companions and their tactics anymore. I also miss the textures of DAO. DA2 seems so... I don't know - too clean.

DA2's difficulty level has been scaled to the console, if you want DAO settings you need to play the PC version at Hard, Nightmare is limited to what Hard was in DA1.

Also dont forget to download the high res textures for the PC/Mac version, gives a better texture detail, altho the game runs like poo in DX11 mode. In DX9 i prolly avg at 140fps in combat or so..

So played 5 hours straight, and I'm loving it. Only thing I hate is that it IS much much easier than DAO.

bought my copy yesterday. don't like the Hurlocks redesign. inventory seems to have been simplified, but I like the "Mass Effecation" of your companions armor. you can't change their armor, that I think makes them more personal instead of just puppets you can play dress up with. the dialogue and the story(for the 4 hours that I've played) seems weak compared to DAO.

other than that, absolutely love the game. combat system is better than it was in DAO. dialogue wheel and voiced PC was a great change. and CC is also definitely better. I'm sure girl gamers will like it since they can create beautiful male Hawke's this time. and there are different kinds of armour/robes this time around, instead of the ugly crap(especially Mages robes) back in the first game.
