Ang mga nurses igo ra musunod sa manual or sa libro while and engineers kay maoy mucreate or innovate new technologies.

once a patient comes to the emergency department, the nurses do the initial assessment and perform emergency care..put oxygen on, extract blood for the pathologist, start intravenous access, and whatnot..doctor comes and asks "ok what do we have here?" "how is the patient doing?" --nurses are frontliners..the medical team has dependent, independent, and interdependent responsibilities..

i could go on but i don't want to turn this thread into a lecture..just thought i'd shed some light to those who belittle what nurses do..

i was anticipating this argument, that's why i said "directly".. engineers deal with ensuring the people's safety by making structures (things, non-living objects) that are sturdy enough..
