there's this bookstore sad na cheap kaayo. used books of course. it's not jst a bookstore since they sell other stuff. it's in the street across the back entrance of gaisano main. don't worry u wont have too much a hard time finding it kay it's in the same block. it's been a long time since i went there though![]()
i like the idea of the pay per hour reading the books. that would be a nice place to hang out alone.
i agree with the previous poster na bookay bookay =doesn't hold much interested. it should be segregated. it's best if it's segregated by categories if they're romance, mystery, etc.... then it would also be better if they would be divided by authors. bookworms usually have favorite authors and so they prefer getting those books. unlike clothes a lot of the buyers would have particular books in mind and if they dont find it they will leave though sometimes they would still browse around.
The name is Cebu Thrift House. I went there once to ask if they would buy my less favorite books. They wouldn't as they only buy pocket books! So ang naa didto kasagaran kanang mga romance novels. They say lisod kuno i-dispose ang non-fiction.Originally Posted by cc(,``o
We can learn from them. Perhaps most people wouldn't buy nonfiction, but they would read them for a fee. Hasol bitaw ning magsige sad ug palit ug nonfiction esp kaning hardbound. So again, a readers' place would be nice. It's a good alternative to just hanging out in malls. If there's a room/lounge, then a bookclub/discussion group could be accommodated. Ingon man gud sila dili kuno readers jud ang mga filipinos. But we love to hold get-togethers, so if we can make this place a "barkada's place", then naay potential for business.
Diba na-onlod naman ang RSO? Closed na?
