honelsty if i only think about myself then i really feel that i need to quit
but then being a doctor is the only profession that i think would allow me to help other people both financially and physically....

simple ra ma gud ko nga tao..as long as naa ko sa basic needs im fine with that..but then i want to help others and if di ko financially stable mas less man gud ang chance na d ko ka help sa mga tao...

ng mga problem man gud sa mga tao karon all boils down to money...i specificallyw ant to help people na naglisod sa ilang pag skwela...

I'm not in the field of medicine but I can really relate to what you're going through. I feel like I'm stuck in a rut with my studies. I've been so demotivated with my lack of progress and so angry with myself, that I feel like burning all my books and notes everytime I look at them. So I decided to take a break next sem just so I can put my head back on track.

Maybe taking a sem-long break is not an option for you. But I think you really do need a break. How about just taking it slow this summer? Take a breather, go to the beach, relax. It might do you some good.

i do need a break but then i cant afford one..hahaah..
my family would freak out if i take a break from my studies..
i only have 3 weeks for a summer vacation because then i would need to go back to school to do a pharmacology research....

I used to be afraid of failing, even though I had this inherent inclination to be competitive. Mao na ang akong biggest obstacle katong nagskwela pa ko. In other words, hadlok ko maninkamot kay feeling nako mahagbong gihapon ko, which is more embarrassing than failing due to negligence.

It's always a good idea to think of being a doctor as a higher calling para ma-motivate ka. There's nothing wrong with taking pride in that. If that's your problem, you can always join a medical mission.

But if your lack of motivation and desire comes from within, then perhaps it's better for you to create a challenge for yourself. Akong motivation to succeed was eventually borne by a desire to learn all that I could. I actually wanted to study, not because I was forced to do it, but because I sincerely found what I was learning fun. Maybe that will work for you sad.

for you to become a doctor you must have the heart and passion for it.. its very difficult to go on kung mawala na imo interest..

na sugod na ko ka pressure sa akong mga boardmates nga waa nay life kung d tuon ra jud...d man pud ko nahan maboang ug tinuon hehhehhe...

sa balay pud kay grabe jud kaayo ilang expectations..

den ssa skul kay d man gud au ko usually magpakita sa mga tao nga mag tuon ko or d pud ko hilig mag cram sa skul premises.. d au ko tgshare inig ka Small Group discussions maski kahibaw pa ko sa answer.. i dont mind nga feeling nila nga bogo ko..so far wa jud ko y hagbong sa pag tung.tung nako ug med..someimes maka irita lang jud..

so you are stressed. what's the point of getting good grades and getting that diploma someday when all the while you're suffering? you'd better decide to enjoy learning.
