Ang logic gud , if we can afford then why build a 4 banger that pushes 500 horses when you can buy from the factory that already makes one for the same price .

Or for the looks department , why install a lambo door to a grocery getter when you can buy the real LAMBO in the first place , kana if we can AFFORD .

sa ako lang pd na obserbahan ani bai..naa dyd tao nga mao ni ang satisfaction, like for example.. naay tao buy cya Ordinary 2nd hand nga sakyanan with stock engine then afterwards mg change engine with Higher power/roque.. then i upgrade pa dyd internal engine modification, turbo,supercharges etc...the fulfillment of building that project car from a waste to a better taste is different from just buying a car nga 500HP dayon.

That is the whole point , we are talking here about something that relates the word AFFORD . We are comparing here a car that is nothing and to a car that pushes 500 horses which obviously is an exaggreated statement but if we put it that way , how much does a 500 HP car would cost ? Now lets do the real math here . Say that 500 HP car is about 5 million pesos , do you really think say a Civic can be achieved to push 500 HP also and spending less than 5 million pesos ? Its not even possible because that expensive car I am talking about is street legal and that nothing car will only see track time and thats it .

Isnt that what RICERS are doing ? trying to make their cars looks FAST ?

2nd car car like 50K+90K engine+80K external (paints, rims, tires,)80K internal (bucket seat.. guages, steering wheel etc.) naa pky 1,200.000 for engine modification to make improvement of the engine, para pa lightweight,labor etc... you will know the car better coz you are building it rather than buying brand new.. and that is priceless for the builder... ok rani cyay if you have plenty of time sa mga ingun ani nga hobby..

You are not getting the drift bai .... still that is not a car comparable to that 500 HP car but you are trying to make it look like one . Remember the lambo doors ? We are talking about RICERS here na maka AFFORD . Why not do it right the first time .

Naay daghan actually and its not only here in the Philippines but it doesnt make it right sa kadtong mga naa sa community and that where the criticisms come in . If we talk about RICEROCKETS and RICERS , there is nothing to gain in the first place because it is about the center of attention being the butt of jokes and criticisms . Now if you think or for that matter na naay mga naligsan or natumban na tiil diri , that is because GUILTY sila unless gi pin point na sila which sa later replies healthy na man . Lets tone it down a bit, inspight of not naming a specific person who may be an idiot in ones mind, the fact is, there are people that like to add options to their car , I too do not agree in adding parts that do not apply to car since I am a purist and restore my old vehicles by part as to how it was in the 60's or 70's but the fact remains this is still a free country and people can do whatever they want ... I have been reading this thread and its been a bit on the edge , I have also gotten complaints already , my take to it is again lets try to follow rules and talk about the topic as opposed to getting personal with people behind post.
