Because when you look at the position of the Philippines during the Marcos era, it just really IMPOSSIBLE for us to catch up with Singapore. About the track record, are you referring to Cory or Pnoy? Cory had no substantial achievements but won't you consider the 1987 PHILIPPINE CONSTITUTION an achievement? It's no simple homework to draft a new constitution to a country that has just gone through a military rule. PNoy? What do you expect? It's just his early months, he hasn't even reached a year yet. Gloria's achievements in reforms we're not reaped until after her term and the same goes for PNoy, his policies will have it big effect after his 6 years of presidency. It is then that we reap the fruits of his work. Let's just be hopeful.
