Proportional raman jud na ang stress sa basic pay, probably 1 or 2 accounts in cebu that im aware nga nindot ug basic pay then relax kaayo ang workload so far.

first time ko work in a call center (no not as an agent), after 7 yrs of working sa transportation industry. tinood, pwerte ra jud kalayo sa akong sweldo as admin didto bisag sa kadugayon sa service, ang sweldo ga-ong ong pirmi hapit na lang mag-abot og ang minimum. nabag-ohan gud ko pagsign nako sa job offer, nakaingon ko noh? if only I started years back sa IT or BPO industry siguro layo layo na jud naabtan sa akong sweldo ron.

    hahahays buhay...

This thread is not inappopriate at all.
What's inappopriate is sharing with your collegues directly. This is a forum with anonymouse people.
In any case I'm quite surprised that the salary for all jobs in cebu are generally lower than manila. No question its even lower than india, another third world country.
Case in point I know people who work at convergys, sykes and accenture in manila. Their base salary is higher than 15k starting.
Even in blue collar jobs the daily salary of a panday is 300 compared to 350-400 in manila.
The graphic artist here get 12k or lower. Tsk tsk.
Web developers, etc, poor salary. Tsk tsk.
Some even get just an allowance. People should learn to ask for a higher pay. Is it because cebuanos are satisfied with bbq and puso as I've heard? Hmmm..

^^ I find pinoybb's post very funny... Have you even considered the cost of living in Manila? Karon pa ko nga i-compare lage ang two things which are not really of the same level..

**Anyway, my 2 cents on the confidentiality of the salaries...

I don't mind! This thread is a great help to those who are financially in need and are juggling which company to apply to. Kevz na ug nagdivulge mo diha basta naa man puy nka-find ani nga thread as helpful.

*Sa ako giworkan, sauna kay apason nila ang sweldo nimo sa prev cc so naa jud mga agents nga ni-above 2k.. Maka-ingon gud ko unfair kay subordinates nimo sila pero mas dako pa ila sweldo nimo...but mas bag-o man sad gud ko nagstart ug work while sila years and years na so sige nalang...

Chill ra man mi diri sa among acct diri sa Wipro.. di man ayo hasul. I'm working here not just for the salary kay as in gamay jud ako... but I really love my job. So bahalag gamay ko sweldo nalipay man sad ko nga bisan bata pa ko (20) dako na kog na-accomplish coz this industry doesn't mind if pila imo edad...as long as you're good at what you're doing then you have the chance to grow career-wise.
