depende jud sa imong preference kung tapulan ka mo drive pag matic kung ganahan ka mo arangkada ug naa kay buhaton sa kamot samtang ga drive pag manual. kas lang gasolina ang matic gas2 sa maintenance. bottomline it all boils down on 1s own preference.

I beg to disagree sa fuel consumption..

It doesnt affect on all cars (based on my exp.)

I had a honda jazz w/c had manual transmission and my sister had an A/T.

Both had 1.3IDSI engines and to be honest it doesn't differ much.

My M/T jazz can run up to 12kms/L, when I'm driving my sister's A/T jazz, I can go 11.5 kms/L.

Well, it's just my 1 cent.

    I'd still go for A/T.

Kung ga-manual para tipid sa gas, pero pirming mokanlat nga morag kada byahe, emergency, ug mo-sudden brake nga 1 millimeter na lang distansya sa gisundang vehicle, wa gihapoy pulos.

    Driving habits matter most.

and look for cars with tiptronic/sportronic/paddle shifts control. the joy of A/T with the performance and effeciency of M/T.

kung ako papilion mag matic ko kay pirti na gyud ka grabe ang traffic aning cebu, wla nay lami i-drive ug manual. dili man sad kaayo dako ang difference sa fuel consumption between manual ug matic specially kung long drive parihas ragyud. for the maintenance sa matic need raka change oil sa imo ATF, mo long last rana, ayaw lang sad ilumbalumba ang matic kay sure gyud sunod na imo trans unlike sa manual maguba gyud ang clutch specially sige ug tungtung imo tiil.
naa man sad downshift ang matic like turning off your OD or moving to lower gear w/ your shift knob.

Driving habits has a lot to do with fuel economy. Fuel economy depends on how bug-at is your foot on the accelerator regardless whether you are driving a manual or auto tranny. If one has good habits, walay problema. Halos pareha.
