wanna buy a netbook: sony or asus or toshiba

Hi mga istoryans!!!

kato mga techies diri basin ka remember mo i asked before if what is the better choice MAC or VAIO...
well, i never got to buy either kay nagka gamay na money problem.. anyways, maayo nalang pd kay i realize na since my work requires me to bring my laptop everyday, its more practical and convenient to get a netbook (honestly, wala naman gamit ako dvd drive.. heeheh)

now, im confused aning 3:

1. SONY -- Y Series : VAIO Notebook & Computer : Sony Philippines

2. ASUS -- Asus Eee PC 1015PEM : Price, Specs, Photos | TechPinas : Philippines' Technology News, Tips and Reviews Blog

3. TOSHIBA -- Toshiba NB305-N600 – Atom N550 - Netbook Reviews

one more question:

-- WHAT's THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN an ATOM processor and AMD? libog nako jud samot..



NOTE: max budget is 30k... i want a netbook that i can bring everyday sa office.. i do mainly documentation and presentations...

but i want to buy a netbook na top of the line.. kanang i wont need to upgrade2x pa.. =)

bahala medyo mahal basta worth it ang price for a netbook. =)

ako suggest if you are tight on a budget go for LENOVO S10-3

tag 11,995 ra na... upgrade lang ang memory from 1 GB to 2 GB...

To give you an idea, this is what I've learned yesterday lang jd since I'm also looking for a worth it lappy

This is comparing AMD and Intel

AMD Intel
E-350 - Pentium
C-50 - Celeron
- Atom

There is no equivalent for Atom for AMD.

AMD Dual core C-50 processor is already 3.5x more powerful than an Atom processor.

Yeah, this is so true. The good thing about this is that AMD's chipsets have very good GPU capabilities.

wow! thanks sa info sis.. so good buy na jud diay ang 30k na sony y series.. mura rako nipalit ug pentium laptop.. atleast for a netbook, that's fast na.


haaayy... sana mabaligya na ako laptop para maka buy nako ani.. =(
