lisoda pod ana na equations sir oi..hehehe but my guess sa white precipitate kay traces na sa mercuric sulfate, slightly soluble ra man gud na. if odorless na cya, mao gyud na...but ayaw lang simhuta kay toxic na. ^^

But considering KMnO4 as your oxidizing agent,

2Na3C6H5O7 + 9O2 (KMnO4) ----->> 3Na2CO3 + 9CO2 + 5H2O

Then with the reagent

3Na2CO3 + HgSO4 ------>>> 3Na2 + 3/2CO2

The white precipitate na imo nakita possibly mixture of the reagents and the sodium.

Try lang siya sir if sakto bah. reagents man gud na sila sir.
