well my avatar host frequently does this.. most probably it's down again. who am i to complain.. it's free hosting.

i know dsl is already affordable here. but again pinas is just a tiny speck of the market.

3Mbps is quite common in the US for home use. on the average, they offer 768kbps as the lowest plan.

Intel's embedded video chip is for the mainstream segment. when you say mainstream.. it's akin to majority ergo.. largest slice.

True, people here in pinas might have the same train of thought as you... download, burn, sell.. but majority don't do that (here or abroad).

Adoption is what makes technology current or dated. It doesn't matter if the media stores a googol of storage, if there is no market adoption, it is irrelevant, without even a date to become dated.

    ukay2x.

Blu-ray and any other media for that matter is already starting to be out of date in general not because of that technology but because of the great cloud itself.

Wa na gyud cguro ang cd/dvd soon

Taiyo Yuden already closed cd/dvd manufacturing .. trillions ang lugi last year.
ila na gistart ang para mass production sa BluRay.. so kanang mga bagong technology sunod pa na after na sa bluray ..
