MOBO and Memory Speed

ask lng ko ninyo guys if ok ba ang RAM which has a speed higher than specified speed sa motherboard?

Like ang motherboard support upto 667 then i put a 800 ram on the motherboard. will it cause any issues?

Kong 667 ra iya dawaton, nya 800 imong i butang dili na niya basahon... try to update your bios bro para dawaton ang imong ram higher than specified. pero mas best kong unsay required sa mobo mao sad imo paliton.

mas maayo boss tauri ug 667 dayon ilad ilad gamay...i overclock hangtod mo abot sa equiv speed sa 800, tabla ra nag 800 ka. =)


edit: dako chance mo function gihapon sya if tauran nimo ug 800 pero it may run at 667 speeds or ma unstable imo system tungod sa voltage differences. i check ug ayo spec sa imo 800 ram

if you go to the manufacturer's website and find your mobo, there is usually a list of the compatible RAM you can place in there. you have to know the specific memory model number though.

sakto gyud bai, avoid na lang ug insert anang imong higher speed ram than what your mobo specified...basin nuon magkaproblema na nuon na imo mobo may pa imo nalang na ibaligya den ang halin imo nalang palit og bag-o ram na compatible sa imo mobo...it's your choice anyway
