    Default Household Electrical Wiring Standards


    sa mga electricians here, unsa may standards kung mag wiring ta sa balay, ibabaw ba sa kesame or ubos i-layout ang wires and pila ang measurement from floor ibutang ang outlets, ang sizes sa wires?

    unsay mga tips para maka save ug wires? Thanks.

    dili ko kuryentecian pero maka buhat ko ug electrical plan..

    ilawm sa ceiling gyud na ang layout sa wiring covered w/ flexible hose. usually convenience oulet is 12" or 1ft AFF (above floor finish) ang switches is 1.5m or 5ft AFF.

    wire size:
    for lighting layout kay #14 THHN wire
    for convenience oulet kay #12 THHN wire
    for main wire (runner) kay #10 THHN wire

    naa man two references para ani:

    Philippine Electrical Code
    National Electrical Code

    daghan man gud provisions kung unsay considered as safe wiring practices.

    ang importante ra gyud ani nga sakto pagka compute ang load aron ma determine ang size sa wires ug pila ka amps ang breakers.. pero sa mga residential lang nga load kana akong gihatag sa 1st post nako mao na ang common..

    naa man gud ko naka istorya na ang iya layout sa iyang balay para sa outlet kay underground. mas maka minimize ka sa wires kung underground. ang pangutana kung allowed ba na dinhi sa atong building code or sa National Electrical code?

    kung para outlet lang pwede raman underground wala mana gibawal sa building code. kana bitaw mga concrete slab pang 2nd floor naa mana wiring gipalaman w/ conduit pipe.. galing lang kung maintenance hisgutan hasol ug dako damage sa imong flooring/tiles labi na kung 1 strorey ra imong balay.
